Yes, we do require an appointment to ensure you receive a personalized experience with our expert stylists. We recommend scheduling your visit 2-3 weeks in advance to get the best availability. However, if you’re hoping for a more immediate appointment, please give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

A trunk show is a special event that features a specific designer’s collection, showcasing the latest gowns before they hit the stores. At these events, you’ll have the chance to meet the designer or their representative in person, view and try on the collection, and even benefit from exclusive trunk show discounts. Keep in mind that once the trunk show ends, the featured gowns may no longer be available for try-on.

Prices for our gowns start around $2,500 and can go up to $25,000, with most ranging between $4,000 and $8,000.

We do carry a very limited selection of dresses that range from $2,500 to $3,000.

We also have a collection of bridal mini-dresses that range from $600 - $9,000.

At Jaxon James, our gowns typically range from sizes 6 to 20, with most store samples available in sizes 8 to 12.

For trunk shows, please note that runway samples are often smaller. But we carry a variety of sizing from that designer that will also be available. If you have concerns about how a gown might fit, please let your stylist know. We may be able to request a designer sample in a different size to help you visualize the perfect fit.

Additionally, Jaxon James offers customization options to address specific sizing needs. Our expert team can tailor gowns to ensure an excellent fit for every bride. We are committed to providing a range of sizes and customization possibilities, ensuring that every bride finds a gown that is beautifully suited to her style and preferences.

We suggest wearing nude undergarments to your appointment. While many brides choose not to wear a bra, if you prefer one, we recommend pasties or a nude strapless bra. Feel free to bring heels if you’d like, but they’re not necessary — we’ll have you stand on a pedestal to see the full effect of each gown.

We welcome you to bring your loved ones to your appointment! We ask that you limit your party to 4 guests, in addition to yourself, for a total of 5 people.

For a more exclusive experience, consider our VIP/Private Appointment option. You can bring up to 7 guests, making it a total of 8 people. This special appointment includes reserved store access, specialty snacks, champagne, and 10% off your wedding dress. For more details, visit our VIP/Private Appointment page

We offer a complimentary champagne toast for you and your guests to enjoy! If you’d prefer, feel free to bring your own bottle of champagne.

We kindly ask that you avoid bringing outside food or red wine.

While we love furry friends, we ask that you leave pets at home to help maintain a clean, allergy-friendly environment and keep our gowns in perfect condition.

We welcome service dogs in accordance with ADA guidelines.

We offer validated parking in a convenient structure located off Harper Street, attached to our building.

There’s plenty of available metered street parking around the area as well.

We recommend that brides shop for and purchase their gowns 9-12 months before the wedding day to ensure ample time for both ordering and alterations.

Generally, it takes about 5-7 months for production, followed by approximately 2 months for alterations. While more time is always beneficial, starting early helps you avoid limited selections and potential rush fees.
